#1 [cg_tools][ubuntu][linux] LibreSpriteを試用
LibreSprite というドットエディタがあるらしい。
まず、Aseprite という有名なドットエディタがあるのだけど。

その Aseprite、昔は GPL v2 でソースが公開されていたそうで、その GPL v2 で公開されていた時期の最終ソースをフォークして作ったドットエディタが LibreSprite だそうで。

気になったので少しだけ試用。環境は Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS。CPU は AMD A8-3850。
flatpak でインストールした。

起動してみて、「おお、Aseprite だ…」と思ったものの。メニューをクリックしただけで落ちてしまう…。これは使い物にならないな…。

◎ Windows版も試用。 :
Windows版もあるらしいので、Windows10 x64 21H2上で動かしてみた。こちらならメニューを選んでも落ちたりしないっぽい。
◎ flathub版は怪しいらしい。 :
flatpak でインストールする版は flathub上で公開されてる版だけど、そちらは動作が怪しいよ、という話を見かけた。

「まずは AppImage版を試してほしい」と書いてある模様。
Ubuntu Linux 20.04 LTS 上で、AppImage版を試用してみた。
こちらなら、メニューを選んだだけで落ちるということはなかった。おそらくフツーに動いてる気配がする。
ただ、端末上に、「Unknown windowevent: 4」というメッセージが大量に表示される…。なんやコレ…。

- chmod a+x libresprite-Linux-x86_64-Debian_10.AppImage で実行権限を付ける。
- ./libresprite-Linux-x86_64-Debian_10.AppImage で実行。

個人的に、ドットエディタとしては GrafX2 や Pixelorama がお気に入りなのです。
